iPod Speakers Reinvented with a TFT Screened Model

We have seen many iPod speakers flooding around during 2006 and may be we will see many more in 2007, well thats may be because Apple isnt the only one who wants to deepen their pockets with the iPod. So here's one more version of the iPod speakers and this its Altec Lansing who wants a share of iPod profits.

There is a bit of innovation in these speakers (has to be) there is a small TFT screen for the video hungry iPoders. Amidst the several other cheap versions on display it's aimed its range squarely at the high-end price bracket.

The inMotion iMV712 gets its own 8.5in display reminiscent of bedside tellies of old and a built-in sub for extra audio beef.

Even pricier is the wireless iM812 with a 100-foot range remote. But thrifty audiophiles aren't completely left out. The 'budget' iM600 has built in FM radio and a rechargeable battery for go-anywhere ghetto blasting.

It will be available for $350, $450 or $150 in U.S. (go and buy a Wii instead)
