There have been many twists and turns in the on going console war between Microsoft, Sony and Playstation. But this one has landed all of them in trouble. A Texas-based corporation Fenner Investments sued Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo alleging the companies were infringing on a patent for a low-voltage joystick port interface.
This patent holding company has been involved in a few other high profile patent lawsuits involving Nokia, Cisco, Ericsson but the suit was eventually dismissed with prejudice. Apparently though thats just an incentive to keep on trying
